Ophir's Photodiode PD-300 series heads offer spectral coverage from 200nm – 1800nm, and automatic background subtraction so the measurement is not sensitive to room light.
All models have wavelength calibration built into the system. There is a wealth of products to cover many applications including scanned beams, telecom, tight spaces, photometric and radiometric heads.

Ophir has special photodiode products for special applications: the low cost PD200 head and display for those who only want to measure one or two wavelengths. The FPS-10 to measure temporal pulse shape and the WaveStar spectrum analyzer to display light spectrum on your PC or laptop.

Thermal Heads - Low Powers to 50W
Ophir has the widest selection of heads for low average powers in the industry. From the popular 3A series that can reliably measure down to tens of microwatts and microjoules to the L50A for up to 50W continuous. There are various shapes and sizes of heads to fit any requirement as well as special absorbers for short pulses.

Included are the exclusive LP1 coating with the highest damage thresholds available for long pulses and continuous radiation. There are heads with apertures up to 65mm diameter and a special head for gel coupled IPL sources.

Thermal Heads - High Powers 500W to 10,000W
Ophir's high power heads are the most reliable and durable available. Included are the
exclusive 10K-W head withstanding power densities at 10KW to 10KW/cm2 and the
FL500A fan cooled head for up to 500 Watts.
